So, it's been forever since I've been posting anything on this blog and I wonder if anyone ever even checks it out anymore. No matter, I thought I'd post a couple things on here.
1. amazon.com sales - I have a hard time passing these up. Right now they are having a grocery clearance sale where they have over 8,000 items on sale plus you get an extra 40% off at checkout with the coupon code listed in the product description, plus free shipping on orders over $25 (the order total before the coupon is applied). Some pretty good stuff on there for food storage or whatever you need it for. I got a case of our favorite sweet potato pancake mix and some other great items for a LOT cheaper than I could get in the store. You just gotta know your prices first and see if it will work for you.
2. lightningdeals.com - great website that lists the gold box deals on amazon.com each day, plus any great sales that they're having (like the clearance sale on grocery above). There's SO much stuff on amazon that it becomes really time-consuming trying to find the best sales, so it saves me a lot of time and trouble. The other day they had a 75% off the lowest price on a bunch of jewelry and I was able to get a few adorable items for about $5 each. Crazy.
